Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:28-29)

Remember the purpose of the fire. The fire purifies and make whole.  It burns up all that is in us that is not holy and pure, and sets on fire what is pure and true. It gives us our voice and then releases us to sing. It burns up the veils and reveals the lies. Jesus can then speak truth to the lies, renewing our minds. When our minds are renewed we can hear the voice of the Lord clearly. Lies distort His voice. Lies distort the reality of who we are and the reality of our circumstances. When our minds are renewed we know who we are, and we know to whom we belong. We know and believe and dwell in the love of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, we can discern the voice of the Lord and walk in His will. No longer do we interpret and interact with reality through misperceptions and lies. We are a people of the truth forged within the fires of purification.

JOURNAL ENTRY:
The question we must all ask ourselves in the midst of activity and momentum in the Kingdom, “Are we growing closer to the Lord? Is He becoming more of our All in All?”
