Isaiah 62 Fast: Day 18
God’s delight in Zion — Revelation of God’s heart for Israel

“You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; �for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.”—Isaiah 62:3-5

God of love, what kind of love have you given to us? Then we should be called children of God! And so we are! Oh Lord, give to your beloved Israel the spirit of revelation to open their blind eyes and unlock their hearts to the fiery passion that burns in your heart for them. Let your word run swiftly into their hearts, awakening them from their slumber. Let her to be responsive to your hand upon them. May their ears hear you call their name – Hephzibah and Beulah. Strengthen them in your love, and in the knowledge that you look upon them with delight, joy, approval and acceptance; and that they are a crown of beauty in your hand; a royal diadem in the hand of their God. O Zion, you are betrothed to the Lord in faithfulness! He has betrothed you to himself in justice, in steadfast love, and in mercy. The Lord will make your waste places like Eden, like a well-watered garden. Lord God, remove the Baals from your mouth of your people and may they now call you "my husband" as they come to know you and believe your great love for them.

Day 17: Isaiah 62 Fast
Praying for our Jewish and Arab brothers and sisters in their times of need.

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”—Hebrews 4:16

Father, we do come boldly before your throne of grace in time of need to lift up to you our Jewish and Arab brothers and sisters. We ask you for your mercy and grace to be poured out abundantly in these times of persecution. We ask that you would strengthen them in their inner man with a revelation of Christ within them — the hope of glory. We pray that you would root and ground them securely in your love, that nothing would shake them; nothing would move them. Would you encourage their hearts today, Father, by showering your love upon them. Let them feel your loving embrace; your right hand holding them, guiding them, protecting them. Manifest your presence to them. We pray for divine encounters. Visit your bride in Israel and encourage their hearts. Those who are weary, those who are weak, give them power, oh God. Give grace to the humble, lift up those who are bowed down, raise up those in the ash heap. Cause them to rise and shine as you shine your light upon them. Raise up the feeblest to be mighty warriors who will do great exploits for your kingdom; declaring the gospel with signs and wonders and miracles in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord!

Day 16: Isaiah 62 Fast
Pray that God will remove the spirit of stupor and give them eyes to see and ears to hear.

“Just as it is written: “God has given them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear, To this very day.”—Romans 11:8

God, we pray that you would lift the spirit of stupor that you placed on the eyes and ears of your chosen people. Lord, have mercy, and send revival to Israel. Heal blind eyes, open deaf ears, and make them know your truth and to see your light. We pray for a great awakening to come to Israel! We ask for divine encounters with your Son; holy visitations. Give them eyes to see the beauty of Jesus; eyes to recognize him as their Messiah. Open the eyes of their hearts and enlighten their understanding. Come and visit the rabbis. Give them your good gifts of faith and knowledge. We thank you for your plans and purposes for Israel.

Day 13: Isaiah 62 Fast
Pray that God will bring in the fullness of the gentiles, so that Israel's hardening will be taken away and all Israel will be saved.

“For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.’’’—Romans 11:25-26

Father, we ask you the name of Jesus, that you would send your fire. We need your fire on the altar again. Come and consume us with your holy fire, your burning desire, your jealous and fiery love that cannot be quenched by neglect or indifference. Reclaim us with your holy fire. We need your presence here to take back what belongs to you – your people. We ask you for a revival in the land so that the fullness of the gentiles will come. So that Israel’s hardening will be taken away and all Israel will be saved. Draw us back to you, to a place of worship and relationship. Give us hearts like David’s. Chang us by the power of your love. Breath of God, come breathe on us. Let us return to our first love. Oh God, we need you. Help us.

Day 11: Isaiah 62 Fast
“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” — Ephesians 3:14-19

Father, we pray in the name of Jesus for the revelation of the love of Christ to the Israeli and Arab Jews. Out of the riches of your glory would you grant to them strength in their inner man by the power of your spirit that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. We pray that you would reveal the love of Jesus to them, that they would know his passion, his desire, his affections, his love for them. Let the revelation knowledge of his love strengthen them, secure and ground them in his love. Would you take the roots of love deep in them so they may be filled with your love. Father, would you reveal the bridegroom to the bride and knit their hearts together so they will be immovable and unshakable in their faith.

“Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants— everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant—even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” — Isaiah 56:6-7

Father, we pray in the name of Jesus, we come together in unity with the same mind, the same accord, to cry out for Israel's salvation. We asked for the fulfillment of your promises in Isaiah. Bring all the sons of the foreigners, the Gentiles, who have joined themselves to you to serve you, to love you — bring them to your holy Mountain, to the place where you dwell. Give it to us a place and a name, better than sons and daughters. Give us an everlasting name in your house of prayer. Gather to yourself all the outcasts and bring them into your house. Empower us to call on the name of the Lord and cry out for your chosen nation. Give us a glimpse of the heavenly city coming down and your intentions for Jerusalem. We pray greater revelation of eternity and our destiny. We ask you for dreams, visions, and holy visitations to reveal the things to come, and for the Spirits insight into God’s end-time purposes, and the new Jerusalem. Give us the treasures of wisdom and understanding in this hour. God, would you bless us with these things and release your spirit of joy upon us.

“For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, my name shall be great among the Gentiles; in every place incense shall be offered to My name, and a pure offering; for My name shall be great among the nations,” says the Lord of hosts.” — Malachi 1:11

Father, we ask You for more. We thank you for the new thing you are doing… Raising up the houses of prayer throughout the Earth. We bless this work of yours, Lord, and ask you for more. Yes, we want your name to be great in all nations. Let Israel be provoked to jealousy when they see all the good you do throughout the world. Let it be as you say, my name shall be great among the gentiles. Come as you have promised, and awaken your sleeping bride. Let her arise and be who you created her to be. Bring her into the place where she belongs with extravagant praise and worship and a desperate cry for the bridegroom. From the rising of the sun to its going down, let the incense arise.
