Absolute Beauty

I am learning, Lord. I am learning what it means to want You over everything else in my life, to want you over recognition and affirmation (these are truly the big ones).

What is it, Lord, that You have in store for us? Can we imagine? I know we cannot even come near to imagining it, but can we taste it? Can we taste it here, Lord?

Yes, My child, you can taste it. That is truly why I created you — to drink and eat of My very body. My body is living water and nourishing bread. Those who hunger will receive, but receiving Me while you are in your earthly body means receiving My judgment as well as My love. I always correct in love, but many who say they want Me are not yet able to receive Me. They are afraid of My correction because they do not yet know Me as Perfect Love.

I only correct you because I see in you the beauty you are called to be.

I am Absolute Beauty, Total Perfection. If you desire to drink of My very body, you will receive correction as easily as you receive love. They will flow out of Me according to your need at the moment. You may think you need correction and I may pour out only My love. You may think you only need love. However, I may find it necessary to send correction along with My love. My desire is that you know Me as the Perfect Lover. I only correct you because I see in you the beauty you are called to be. To see what I see in you is to glimpse the hope of your calling, and it will cause you to run to Me in all-out abandonment. A mere glimpse will enable you to passionately respond to My correction, for you will know that I only desire to bring out the true beauty in you.

Having a sober view of yourself will remove the temptation of spiritual pride, as well as false humility.

Know who you are, My child. Know who I am. Such truth does not come easily, for you must hunger and thirst after My righteousness. But I will not withhold Myself from those who hunger for a full revelation of who I am.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

“Do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding  being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 1:16-20)
