It is right for you to take time just to be with Him; after all, He created you for Himself, and He created you for love.

Your heart is truly that of a warrior, for you see the work that needs to be done. He is pleased with you, for you have not shrunk back. You are determined to answer His call to set the captives free. You have stood firm in the attacks sent against you. You have grown in wisdom, discernment, and knowledge of the enemy’s tactics.

But know that His most courageous warrior is also created for love. There are times when you must lay down your weapons and simply sit at His feet and allow His love to wash over you, pour into every wounded fiber of your being, and heal you.

You are His beloved. “I am my lover’s and my lover is mine.” (See Song of Solomon 6:3). Do you know what it means to be “His” —uniquely and specifically “His”? Know that the ultimate warrior is also the consummate lover. He is compelled to war because of love, and he is driven to love because of the war.

He longs for you to simply adore Him … to kiss His feet …  to come to Him for no reason other than to come to Him. “For love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave.” (Song of Solomon 8:6, NIV). He is jealous for you. In heaven, we will be found worshipping Him without end. Come, worship Him right now!
