“If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.” (Matthew 7:11 NLT)
What can I ask for my dear Lord, except for union with You? How can I ask for any good gifts – when You truly are all I will ever need?
If I can have You indwell me I will be complete. I will be whole. Ready to go where You tell me to. Ready to speak Your words, to love with Your love and Your heart. Having no emotions apart from Yours. Is this possible? Is it possible to have only Your thoughts —none of my own — but to be so consecrated that I fully walk in Your will? Is this where Paul walked?
Oh, Jesus do not remove Your hand from me until You do this in me! Oh, Lord, give me the strength until this is accomplished!
