To disillusion is to cause someone to realize their belief isn't true. It can lead to a feeling of disappointment when they think that something is not as good as they believed it to be. Disillusionment is running rampant in the body of Christ today for many different reasons. Disillusionment can easily lead to becoming lukewarm and complacent, and that lukewarmness can easily lead to life-altering deception. The Word of God shows us the reality of lukewarm living and gives us a platform that enables us to recognize, grow, and live above disillusionment.
