Greetings to all our Voice friends and family,
Thank you for taking a moment to read this important update regarding the changes that are about to take place for our Prophecy Ministry. As the result of clear directives we believe were given to us by the Holy Spirit, we will soon begin to implement some changes in how the Prophetic Ministry operates at Voice.
Starting in May three primary changes will begin.
- PROPHETIC MEETING PLACE – The once- a- month prophetic “meeting place” service (on the first Tuesday of each month)
- Up to this point, free flowing prophetic type worship has opened the service allowing corporate prophecies room to be communicated.
- A teaching that is somehow related to Hearing God or the Prophetic Ministry has been given.
- Voice Prophetic Team has delivered Personal Prophecies to the congregation present from the platform.
- At the end of the service short Personal Prophecies (1 or 2 minute) have been available.
STARTING MAY 7 (7:00 PM)
- The praise and worship will be the foundation of the service and will hold everything together.
- An assigned leader will open with a relevant scripture or topic and begin to appeal, decree, or prophesy the heart and will of God about the subject.
- Then we will give the Holy Spirit the invitation to respond accordingly.
- We will allow this to cycle out or start a new topic.
- As the service develops and people become familiar with the service, we will open the mic for “rapid fire” prophecy.
- At the end of the service short Personal Prophecies (1 or 2 minute) will remain available.
- PERSONAL PROPHECY – (Prophetic Rooms)
Up until now the prophecy rooms have been open for personal ministry on every Tuesday night except the prophetic “meeting place” service. This will change to one Tuesday night a month. On that Tuesday, the prophetic rooms will operate much like they do right now while the meeting place is going on.
STARTING MAY 21
- The third Tuesday of each month will be our “community ministry” night. It will be the only Tuesday night the prophecy rooms will be open.
- As normal, personal prophetic ministry sign-up time will start at 6:15, and ministry will begin at 6:30.
- Those who have never had prophetic ministry and those who haven’t received ministry for the longest period of time will be given priority.
- NOTE: We require a three month waiting period between ministry sessions. We will begin checking previous ministry dates to ensure the three month waiting period is honored.
STARTING MAY 14
- PROPHECY AND IHOP INTEGRATION – The other two weeks of the month, we will schedule teams that will integrate into the current live IHOP sets, and provide personal prophetic ministry to people attending who are interested. We might have one, two, or three teams available depending on our availability and the number of people attending a particular set.
- To know if prophetic ministry is available for a specific IHOP set you will need to check the IHOP calendar on the Voice website. Beginning in May, it will be noted when there is prophetic ministry available during a set.
- Below is an IHOP prophecy schedule for May and June. It’s possible dates and times may change. But it’s our intention to make things as clear and consistent as possible.
It has been, and will continue to be our pleasure to make available safe, biblically based prophetic ministry to Michiana and the surrounding regions.
