Share Your Story

We have been asking the question: “What does Voice Ministries mean to you?” When people begin to share how God has met them, it increases faith; it sparks hope. When it is genuine and real, it causes you to press in. This is community! This is our story. Be encouraged as you read these!

We love being at The House of Prayer and The Camp. We feel blessed. It’s an honor and a privilege to have a place to go to sit before the Lord, to be in His presence, to love, to be loved, to be accepted, to bless others, to be blessed, to have fun, to be with our brothers and sisters in the Lord, to receive healing, to have “your mail” read, to chill out and to have our hearts connected to His heart and forever have our lives changed for the better because of who He is.

For me, Voice Ministries has always been a church where I feel at home and welcome 24/7. When I visit the Camp, I’m hit with a wave of emotion that I can only describe as a fresh, reviving byproduct of the Father’s presence. The Holy Spirit is so present there. Every time I step foot onto Voice’s property, it feels like coming home. I feel more awake and alive there, because of the overwhelming presence of the Lord. Thank you Voice, for always being a place where I can let my guard down and just bask in the presence of God. Thank you Father, for always meeting me there and drawing me back into Your loving embrace.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF BRYON STAMETS
Thank you so much Bryon Stamets for everything that you poured into each of us — the encouraging words, the passion and the calls to action you shared with us at Voice Ministries! Thank you for always standing and using your voice to point people to Jesus!

“Voice Ministries is just that … a voice crying out in the unbeaten path of the wilderness, like John the Baptist. He said, “I am the voice of one crying prepare the way of the Lord.” Also it’s about the breath and the prophetic utterance of the Lord’s voice through the prophetic song and Word. “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every proceeding Word from the mouth of God.” That proceeding Word is a leading Word. The “rhema” words and the “logos” words are what everyone is looking for. People need teaching but also the touch of the Spirit. Voice Ministries is a refuge on that unbeaten path.”
— Bryon Stamets

Living in a prophetic community and seeing the prophetic team grow and minister powerfully to the body of Christ at large has been rewarding. Also rewarding is being a part of a functioning prayer team on Friday nights when the presence and power of God floods the room and moves in our midst as we gaze on Him and heaven comes to earth to realign our thinking and deepen our roots of faith.

I got to know Voice through a friend. The first time I visited the place which I now call home, it wasn’t with complete certainty or comfort. In fact, I had personally set my mind that it was going to be my first and possibly only visit. That Sunday, the preacher spoke about the power of spending time in the secret place with the Lord. Despite the fact I hadn’t fully grasped the full power of what that even meant, I was desperate enough to try it since I greatly wanted change in my life. I began to visit the House of Prayer and spend time with the Lord, and the Holy Spirit began to powerfully restore me day-by-day. Currently, I have traveled back to college where I study and the Holy Spirit has continued to create freedom that produces an intense, burning desire to share that freedom with others!

In my 19 years around Voice and my 16 years on staff, my time investment at Voice has been fruitful. I have been encouraged and challenged to grow and move in known and unknown spiritual gifts. I have gained critical understanding of the end times and the times upon us. All these years, I have gathered my oil, the oil of intimacy before the Lord , as I cried out to Him in intercession between the porch and the altar. I have done all this while understanding what it is to minister to the Lord in The House of Prayer. I have been wrecked.

Being part of the Voice family for the past year and half has marked my life forever. At Voice I discovered my true identity as a beloved daughter of the most high God, and I learned what it really means to live for Jesus with Jesus — not because of what I can do, but because who He is and who I am in Him. At Voice, I fell in love with the word. I learned to read the Bible until it reads me. I learned to love and to be loved. But most of all, I learned how to be truly me and encourage everybody to be themselves as long as we live eating from the tree of life instead of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If I could change anything about my time at Voice, It would increasing the time I spend ministering to God in the House of Prayer.

In 1991, Angela and I immigrated to Israel and became citizens under the right of return. In 2002, our family came from Israel for me to go to a one year leadership school in Elkhart. The plan was to go back to Israel and found a leadership school. In 2004 we began attending Voice until we left to return for Israel in 2006. Over the years, our relationship with the leadership team grew. Jerry Reeder became a member of our board and still is. Voice has been actively supporting our ministry, Light to Israel, for the past 13 years. We have always felt at home whenever we came to the states and visited our friends at Voice. Bob, Dave, Denny, Stan, and all the others on the leadership team were always very supportive.

In 2012-13 we went through an extremely hard time in Israel and our family was divided and separated. At the suggestion of Jerry, Bob agreed to host Angela and I at the Camp, and Dave Ramer and a few others counseled us for a few months. It was critical in bringing us back together, establishing reconciliation in our lives and we are extremely grateful that Voice never gave up on Mike and Angela. We were given the care and concern we needed to overcome and return to ministry.

Recently, on a Thursday morning, I came to join the praise and worship team at the House of Prayer at 9 am. What came to me was a word from Isaiah 56:6-8.“Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants—everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant—even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, ‘Yet I will gather to him others besides those who are gathered to him.’”

It is the vision of the prophet from 2800 years ago. The house of prayer, the gathered sons of the foreigner and the gathered outcasts of Israel all worshipping the same God, holding fast to the same covenant. We were the fulfillment of that prophetic word. God and His Holy Spirit has drawn us together.

Voice Ministries has a special place in our hearts as family. We will never forget what was done for us at the lowest time in our lives. The love and care we were surrounded with can only come from true family and brothers Proverbs 17:17. — Mike & Angela

“I am so thankful to the family at Voice that stayed steadfast through the years long before I walked through the door 12 years ago. I have had a place to heal, call home, know true friends and family, and find the me that Jesus sees because of those faithful to stay-the-course, steadfast and persevering. Many have had a quiet place to hear His life-changing voice. I have a home and feel incredibly blessed and honored to be able to stand along-side of them pressing in, persevering, and equipping for the triumphal return of our beloved Jesus! Loving Him and loving each other, that’s what it’s all about.”
— Christie Moore

“Voice is a place of encounter. It’s easy to experience God’s presence here in ways that will change your heart forever. You can experience the Father’s heart in so many different facets, flavors and dimensions. It’s never the same. The Holy Spirit moves in powerful ways. It’s so free, friendly  and full of the Love of God. You’ll never leave the same as you entered if you’re willing to open up your heart and let Him in. There are no pre-conditions at Voice, only an invitation to love and be loved. Voice will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where I long to be to worship with all my heart and with my fellow lovers of Jesus!”
— Bradd Neidhamer

“I first came to Voice just a little over over ten years ago. They were hosting an event for Graham Cook at the time in their main sanctuary. In between sessions however, I found myself drawn to another location in that same building called “The Prayer Room.” What I remembered the most about that weekend was the overwhelming presence of God I experienced each time I entered that amazing place of prayer. It was intoxicating! I was instantly hooked, and became a regular attender at Voice soon afterwards.

In hindsight, I know God led me to Voice. I had an insatiable hunger for a deeper understanding of God’s Word, coupled with a desire to experience the full expression of the supernatural gifting of the Holy Spirit in a more profound manner. I found satisfaction for both of these desires and so much more at this very unique place that will forever be my home church called, Voice Ministries.”
