Café 127 is a dream of Roger and Angela Spier that was birthed out of Jesus’ thoughts on true religion: James 1:27. As a couple immersed in the reality of adoption and caring for the weak and distressed, the Spiers have a desire to spread this truth and give the body of Christ an opportunity to put into action the things of the Father’s heart and to bring about justice.
While the heart of this ministry is to be a full-time, fully-operating espresso bar, Café 127 will be open during conferences and special events, as well as before and after Sunday morning meetings and the Meeting Place, serving coffee, hot chocolate and muffins. The purpose of this Café is to provide warmth, a call to fellowship and to raise awareness of the widows, the orphans and the life of purity. Profits will help fund adoptions, support widows, and pour into the Nehemiah Fund, which provides support for those ministering in the House of Prayer.
Hours: Sunday: 9–11am
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” -James 1:27
